9 Offline Updates Overview:

9.1 Step by step

1. In the event of having to do an offline update we will send the file you will need upon request.

2. Extract the (.tar) file from the download; then copy the extracted files to the root folder of a USB drive.

• This might take some time because it is quite a large file.
• This is different from the Production version (PRD), but it is acceptable for now.

3. Insert the USB into the control box. (be sure that the control box is up to date with the main)

• Wait until a blue dot appears.

4. Install the update

• On the iPad access the UI, go to menu, click “settings” then “software update”.
• Then on the software update tab, click on “Install”, where the USB drive has been detected.
• This will probably take around 25 min.

5. Once the installation is complete, confirm the new version appears as the “current version”.

• When the cb reconnects, it should automatically syn with the correct target build.
